2005-2006

Siemiatycki returns to the Redmen with a much improved shooting touch and sorely needed leadership and experience in the backcourt. He is a career 48 per cent shooter from inside the three-point line and does not mind driving to the basket and rubbing elbows in the paint. LAST SEASON: Siemiatycki recorded a career-high 10 rebounds against Concordia,Nov. 6/04. IN 2003-04: He scored a career-high 13 points against Bishop's, Nov. 28/03. IN HIGH SCHOOL: He was a five-time captain at North Toronto Collegiate and also played club basketball with Toronto Maccabbi (1997-2000) and the Toronto Ballhawks (2002). OTHER: Siemiatycki was an Academic All-Canadian last year and he also helped found a basketball academy for underprivileged youth in his native Toronto.

Elliot has a great understanding of the game, and is one of the Redmen's best defensive players. Possessing excellent court vision, he makes everyone around him better.
